EDWARD D'ARCY HATTON
Actor, Singer, Writer, Director.
Edward was born in Liverpool, and studied singing as with Jean Gordon Brown at Sandown College of Performing Arts. After graduating Edward won a place at the prestigious Royal College of music,
studying opera and voice with Edward Brooks and James Lockhart.
In his professional career Edward has performed with E.N.O, Wexford Festival Opera, English Bach Festival, London International Opera Festival, Heritage Opera, L.S.O. with Michael Tilson Thomas and more recently at The Royal Opera House in Damon Albarn’s opera ‘Monkey Journey To The West’,
and Tate Modern 2oth birthday celebrations.
Edward has also appeared all over the country in oratorio, and more recently in recital at Buxton festival with accompanist Timothy Mottershead; both were nominated for prizes.
Edward is pleased to be singing again with the Birmingham Choral Union.
